Puppy news

We have pepper&salt and black&silver puppies.

Super Play's Donatella "Datte's puppies are four weeks old now. There is one show quality male available for show home.

Super Play's Yazzylady "Zissy's" puppies opened their eyes and have started to move a little bit in the puppy box. These puppies are reserved.

Show news

This spring has been very busy. We have been showing our dogs almost every weekend with great success and also some newcomers. We had black&silver visitor from Norway Get Weiler's A  Million Dollar Baby "Uno". He was BOB in three shows in Finland and BOS in Estonia. Uno got new titles: FIN CH, Nordic CH, EST CH and ESTW-10. The handler was Tiina Ultamo. Let's see if we get Uno back again to some shows in the end of this year. In Estonia we got three EST CHs and one EST JUN CH.

Alert Charm Yudgin has started his show carieer again. This time in veteran class. Jaki has been two times BIS 2 veteran and once BIS4 veteran and there is lot of shows left were he is going to be shown. His handler is also Tiina Ultamo.

On Saturday we had our main specialty show for schnauzers and pinschers. There were 23 Super Play's dogs entered in the show in three different colours. We got three BOBs and three BOB breeder's classes. Super Play's team was showing its best when we had 12 dogs with 12 handlers in the same final ring. Our pepper&salt breeder's class was BIS1 and black breeder's class BIS2. Super Play's Dolcelino was BIS3 with his handler Laura Jokela. Thank you to Super Play's team for your great work. Special thanks goes to handlers Lotta and Tiina who were showing several dogs to class winners.

We had very nice show day in Lahti. Super Play’s Hermione was BOB and Super Play’s Ricardo BOS. Super Play’s Gipsy King got his last cac and became FI CH. Super Play’s Mercede was second and got cac. Our new show dog from Norway Get Weiler’s A Million Dollar Baby “Uno” was BOB and became FI CH and Nordic CH. I would like to thank Super Play’s team for the fine work and our Norwegian friends Siv and Lisemette for letting us have such a nice dog.

Puppy-news

Manta’s puppies Fina, Rumba, Jekku, Uuno and Aada have moved their own homes. I have got nice news from new owners how fine the first days have gone.

This was Manta’s last litter. Thank you Nina and Juha nice teamwork with Super Play’s kennel.

Cami’s puppies have started to move their own homes. First puppies Onni, Chigo and Iines have already left the puppybox. Female puppy Super Play’s Zinnia is still looking her own home. With this litter Cami will be Lea’s dog. Thank you Lea nice teamwork with Super Play’s kennel.

We had nice day in Estonia national dogshow. Our dogs got everything what we had been looking for. Thank you to handlers Lotta and Annika and special thank you Tiina who was taking care of Beca’s and Datte’s coats.

Year 2009 in the Super Play’s kennel
- Records are meant to be broken.

Again we have an extremely succesful year behind. Last year Super Play's Team has been very active taking part in dog shows and also in other dog sport activities.

Baltic Winner Tallinn BIS1

Pepper&salt breeder's group was shown tremendous 26 times during the year. Every time the group was at least BOB. BIS1-placements we got five times, three of them in international shows. The Breeder of the Year competition in Finland was extremely tough this year. Super Play's minis ended up in the 13th place. Altogether there were 14 dogs taking part in our breeder's groups (Super Play’s Dolcelino, Domiziano, Donatella, Eternal Flame, Galaxy Queen, Gipsy King, Glory Story, Hermione, Jardinera, Marcello, Northern Duke, Regina, Ricardo and Veneranda).

In addition to peppers we introduced also black and black-silver breeder's groups in 2009. Pippureiden lisäksi toimme kehiin ensimmäistä kertaa myös mustat ja mustahopeat kasvattajaryhmät. Among other things Turku specialty's Best In Show group included the blacks  Super Play’s Black Jewel, Jedi the Black, Palmira and Patricio. Black-silver group consisted of Super Play’s Keeping Style, Keep the Secret, Yazzyplayer and Yazzyman.

     
In August we had time to celebrate kennel's first International Champion, Super Play’s Ricardo. Just a few months later also Super Play’s Ocean Wind and Super Play’s Glory Story got the same title.

Finnish Championship titles were given to peppers Super Play’s Sirius, Regina, Valenzo and Veneranda. Two black-silver brothers, Super Play’s Yazzyplayer and Yazzyman, gained their championshp titles as well as first black Super Play’s Black Jewel. Super Play’s Eternal Flame became kennel's first Estonian Junior Champion.

Our imports got the following titles: Alert Charm Yudginilla NORD&N CH, Russkiy Assorti’c Showboylla FIN CH and Smart de Picheralla EST&S CH. Black Kuhn Bart Egoza Wildflowe FIN CH and Bouvbear’s Lift Me EST CH. Black-silver Impala Lucky Chancesta became EST&S CH.

Kennel's dogs won also plenty of Winner titles. Super Play’s Ricardosta became BALT W-09, Baltic Junior Winner were Super Play’s Marcello and Hermione. Norwegian Winner– titles went to Super Play’s Ocean Wind and Hermione. Super Play’s Northern Dukesta became NORDJW-09.

In addition to the ones mentioned above Super Play’s Dolcelino, Domiziano, Donatella, Easy Going, Eye Catcher, Galaxy Queen, Gipsy King, Jedi the Black, Keep My Secret, Keeping Style, Mercede, Patricio and Pocahontas have been awarded with CACs. Super Play’s Quata of Fortune got two Estonian junior CACs. All the dogs in Super Play’s Team have won altogether amazing 86 CACs, 43CACIBs, 55 BOBs and several group placements during the year.

 Moon Regiys Zhosien Getsmart’s progeny class ended up in the BIS3 in main specialty show.

   
Three Super Play’s dogs were exported during 2009. Xia Maria to Sweden and Xanta Maria as well as Vida Loca to Norway. We imported Top Target Maestro from Russia, Sailer’s Unforgettable Girl from Brazil and Groth’s Fantastic Colour & Double Agent from Sweden.

Some of Super Play’s minis have had great success in agility fields as well. The greatest aginews last year was Super Play’s Viper’s agility championship. It is really challenging to achieve the championship in agility so warmest congratulations to “Eppu” and his handler Marjaana! In addition Super Play’s Hurrigane Harry moved on to the 3^rd class. Super Play’s Imagine and Glory Story moved on to the 2^nd class. Super Play’s High Jumper got agility CAC. New agihopes were trained for the future in the agility course.

We had obedience trainings during spring and fall. All Super Play’s dog owners had also a chance to improve their grooming skills in grooming sessions that were organized twice during the year.

 
 Some get together days and trips to the dog spa were extra fun. Those are the times that you can see the dogs really enjoying themselves.

The kennel’s ”black sheep” toy poodle Fixus Not To Much was awarded with CAC during the year. 

 Several little schnauzer puppies have saw the light of the day during the year. Unfortunately we have had to say the last goodbye for some of the dearest friends. Super Play’s XO, Super Play’s Thunderbolt and Super Play’s Autumn Spirit as well “Nette’s” (my first miniature schnauzer) kids Stablemaster’s Nonchalant, Nitetime Jumper and Nutcracker have crossed the rainbow bridge.

 All in all the year has been full of unforgettable moments. There has also been the time for tears. All those moments we’ve shared with the whole Super Play’s team. Thank you for all of you who have made this year to come true. Often the show winners or agility masters win a lot of fame and credit but every single sofa champion is as important as everyone else. The prime thing is a schnauzer that is well-kept and the owner’s pride and joy.
